2025 RTR Cenotaph Parade, Church Service & Vintners Reception

The Cenotaph Parade will be held on Sunday 16 November 2025.

The timings for the Parade are:

1030 hrs – Parade forms up on Horse Guards Parade
1040 hrs – Officer Commanding Parade inspects the Parade
1050 hrs – Parade moves off to arrive at the Cenotaph at 1053 hrs
1100 hrs – Short Service of Remembrance at the Cenotaph
1110 hrs – Parade marches to the RTR Memorial in Whitehall Place
1120 hrs – Parade Commander lays a wreath at the RTR Memorial
1125 hrs – Parade is dismissed

The Parade will be commanded by General Sir Chris Deverell KCB MBE. Those wishing to take part in the short Service at the Cenotaph but who are unable to march should make their own way to the Cenotaph in their own time. Officers and all ranks on Parade are asked to wear medals.

RTR CHURCH SERVICE

After the Parade there will be a Remembrance Service at St Mary Aldermary Church starting at 1200 hrs. RTR Association Members and their Branch Standards are encouraged to attend the Service.

VINTNERS RECEPTION

After the Service there will be a Reception at the Vintners’ Hall at 1300 hrs. The Vintners’ Hall, Upper Thames Street is a 3 minute walk from St Mary Aldermary.

TRANSPORT

Two double decker buses will transport persons from the junction of Northumberland Avenue and Whitehall Place to St Mary Aldermary at 1130 hrs for the Service. At 1500 hrs a bus will make a return journey to the Horse and Guardsman Public House, 16-18 Whitehall from the Vintners’ Hall.
