Green Fields

When anyone passes to the ‘Green Fields’, HHQ have a coffin drape in Royal Tank Regiment colours for use at the funeral.  There is also a CD available of the Regimental March – ‘My Boy Willie’. Please contact HHQ RTR on 01929 403448 if you wish to have a drape on loan.

If anyone knows when a member of the Regiment passes to the Green Fields, please inform HHQ RTR, then their name can be entered on this site in “The Green Fields” page. The entry will also be added in the Tank Journal.

A downloadable copy of the Death Notice form can be completed and emailed to:  greenfields@royaltankregiment.org

The Commonwealth War Graves Commission (CWGC)

The CWGC care for the 1.7 million men and women of the Commonwealth forces who died in the First and Second World Wars, ensuring they will never be forgotten. Funded by six Member Governments, their work began with building, and now maintaining cemeteries at 23,000 locations all over the world.
